We use a /roll system with the following priority:
1) Main specs
2) Designated backup off-spec (to ensure backup tank/healer get what they need)
3) Other off-spec
Raiders are expected to not be greedy and to talk to each other about their wants and needs. What may be a minor upgrade for you could be a major upgrade for someone else, which will result in the raid being stronger overall and better able to tackle the content we want (remember, we want to go for Hard Modes, so a minor upgrade for one person isn't going to be as good as a major upgrade for someone else). If you are in it for the loot, this isn't the place to be. If your expectation is to bring in a lesser geared character for any reason, and expect loot to be passed to you because of it, this also isn’t the place for you to be.
Member-level guildies and Alts are expected to pass loot to Raider mains. Exceptions might be made on a case by case basis if the Member/Alt is needed for a particular purpose for an extended period of time (ex: we need a tank and don't have enough regularly raiding at the time).
Mount Drops
Open roll.
If you win the roll, you are allowed to (at that moment) announce to the raid that you will be gifting the mount to someone else.
Winning the roll, whether keeping the mount, or gifting it, makes you ineligible to roll again unless no Raiders present in the group need the mount.
A "giftee" of a mount is still allowed to roll on future rolls, as they have not yet won a roll and retain the option of gifting the mount to another person themselves.
Legendaries
Legendary assignment will be determined by a vote by the raid group as a whole. The method of voting will be updated in the near future.
