-My OS is Feral with a 530 item level. I play it quite well. I occasionally use the Claw add-on to help with rotation since I hardly play it anymore.
2) When you want to research your spec/gear so you can tank/heal/dps better where do you go to get this information? Nearly everyone says EJ, so impress us. Where do you go for your information besides EJ?
-I go to the Druid forums on worldofwarcraft.com and read the guides for PvE Healing. Gives me a good idea of what glyphs/talents/food buff/flasks are most ideal to use.
3) How willing are you to switch roles (tank to dps, dps to healer, etc.) if your class allows for it? Are you willing to switch specs for specific fights (e.g. a mage going frost for add kiting on Nef)? Note: If you were recruited as dps we will understand if you do not want to be a permanent tank/healer, but it's good to know if we can hot-swap you if someone's absent that day.
-I'd be happy to switch to Feral, assuming I can get some pieces from Flex to give it a nice boost. I'm decent as kiting, even as a healer (it usually ends well) and even better at kiting in Feral (I run fast). If I needed to switch to dos I could, but my output on numbers would probably get me laughed out of the raid.
4) What is your current raid progression? If it is different from the character you are applying with, also tell us why you are switching mains.
-12/12 ToT (Ahead of the Curve Lei Shen FoS on 6-10-13) 3/13H ToT (Jin'rokh, Tortos and Ji'Kun kills).
-14/14 SoO (Ahead of the Curve Garrosh Hellscream FoS on 10-27-13).
5) Do you have any notable achievements when raiding previous tiers? (e.g. Killing Kael'thas in TK before he was skippable, Bane of the Fallen King before 4.0.1, etc.)
-No. But, my character can eat and drink at the same time. I think that is a notable achievement, seeing as how I can't do that in real life because I start choking.
6) Do you have any World of Logs reports or Recount breakdown screenshots you could link or post so we can get a feel for your performance?
-I do not. If need be, I'd be more than willing to run a Flex so y'all could get a good idea of my play style and numbers.
7) What are your professions, are they maxed, and why did you choose these? If they are gathering professions would you be willing to switch to a more raid viable profession?
-Mining and Herbing. A previous guild needed someone to gather herbs and ore for flasks/potions and crafting materials. If I needed to switch, I'd be more than happy to!
8) Are you available to make both scheduled raid days for the group you are applying to (Sat/Mon for Group 1, Wed/Thursday for Group 2)? Obviously things come up, we understand that. We have a 75% attendance policy. However we are looking for dependable raiders.
-Group 2 and yes, the raid times are perfect. I am very reliable and dedicated.
9) In which timezone do you play? Are you aware that we are a Pacific Time (PST) server and schedule our events at primetime for our server (usually starting around 7-8 p.m.)? If you are transfering, have you tested that you have adequate ping to our server (located in California) that your gameplay will not be lagged?
-I'm in Pennsylvania. That is EST for anyone who doesn't know. I have not tested whether or not I'll lag but I'd be more than happy to test it out.
10) What other guilds have you been a part of and what were their primary goals? Why did you choose to leave your former guilds?
-I have been in guilds that did 10-mans and 25-mans. Primary goals were gearing up their core raiders before new raiders. I left former guilds due to being told I had a core spot and then I would be rotated out. That does NOT sound like a core spot to me. I do not want to be rotated out. I am looking to raid, not be a benchwarmer. Some guilds fell apart due to people not liking the new expansion or loot drama over how items would be distributed (loot council or need/greed roll system).
11) Are you currently guilded, and if so, have you informed your current guild leader that you are applying with us?
-I am currently guilded. I have not informed my Guild Leader of my decision. Once I get a yes or no answer from this guild, I will gladly inform them.
12) What do you expect to accomplish with Be Your True Mind?
-I hope to accomplish progression in an environment with positive people who are a joy to raid with. It'd be nice to have a guild where I feel as though I can call it a permanent home.
13) What really annoys you in a guild?
-People who don't help contribute. Players who are lazy and expect to be carried.
14) Do you know any of our members? If so, how do you know them?
-I've talked to Stryker a bit. He seems like a cool guy. Probably saves the Princess quite a bit.
15) Are you the type to regularly visit your guild's forums? Note: We often post strategies on the forums and require that any absences be posted in advance. If you're forum-phobic this isn't a good guild for you to raid with.
-Yes, I would be on the forums every day and evening to see if anything had been posted.
16) Give us a few reasons why we should chose you for our guild.
-I'm pretty, smart, funny and I have a great personality and sense of humor. Oh wait…this is a guild app not Ms. America. I'm dedicated and I work hard for the team I come to heal/dps for. I'm always prepared with food/flasks/potions and I bring extras in case someone needs them for later on. I think I'd be a good morale booster in case we wipe over and over on a boss. People get flustered and negative really quick and I try to keep the environment positive and relaxed.
17) If you mated a bulldog and a shitsu, would it be called a bullshit?
-No, it would be called a Bull Shih. And you spell it Shih Tzu.
18) Please take a few sentences to tell us about yourself; how old you are, what you do for a living or what you study, what other games you might play, etc.
-I'm 25, favorite color is red, sushi is my favorite food, P90X is an amazing workout, I met my current BF on WoW, born in New Jersey, went to college for Theatre and Dance and am now wanting to go back for Massage Therapy, never married and no children, I love to laugh and I want world peace.
19) Finally, please post a screenshot of your UI so we can see what it looks like. You can list any hidden addons or keybindings which are useful for your playstyle, particularly if they're hidden and not immediately obvious from the screenshot.
-I took a screenshot and for whatever reason it isn't in my screenshot folder. I'll see about getting it uploaded once I figure out what is going on.
