2) When you want to research your spec/gear so you can tank/heal/dps better where do you go to get this information? Nearly everyone says EJ, so impress us. Where do you go for your information besides EJ?
Icy-Veins has been my primary source of gearing and stat priorities. Elitist Jerks is used for theorycrafting and taught me to write macros. I also frequent the healing forums and druid forums on the WoW site.


3) How willing are you to switch roles (tank to dps, dps to healer, etc.) if your class allows for it? Are you willing to switch specs for specific fights (e.g. a mage going frost for add kiting on Nef)? Note: If you were recruited as dps we will understand if you do not want to be a permanent tank/healer, but it's good to know if we can hot-swap you if someone's absent that day.
I have no problem switching to any spec needed, but I really hate playing Boomkin :\


4) What is your current raid progression? If it is different from the character you are applying with, also tell us why you are switching mains.
I am 1/13H


5) Do you have any notable achievements when raiding previous tiers? (e.g. Killing Kael'thas in TK before he was skippable, Bane of the Fallen King before 4.0.1, etc.)
Honestly, no. I've been raiding in casually since Ulduar. Our guild decided to step it up and try to be more competitive with MoP. We were 3/12H before 5.2.


6) Do you have any World of Logs reports or Recount breakdown screenshots you could link or post so we can get a feel for your performance?
I do not. I never personally ran logs, and I'm unfamiliar with how to navigate the site to look up


7) What are your professions, are they maxed, and why did you choose these? If they are gathering professions would you be willing to switch to a more raid viable profession?
I am maxed Inscription and Enchanting. I have numerous alts, Inscription came in handy for the numerous glyphs needed and being able to craft staffs made for easy access to weapons for early raids. Enchanting keeps costs low for the constant replacing of gear and switching from specs.


8) Are you available to make both scheduled raid days for the group you are applying to (Sat/Mon for Group 1, Wed/Thursday for Group 2)? Obviously things come up, we understand that. We have a 75% attendance policy. However we are looking for dependable raiders.
For group 2, yes.


9) In which timezone do you play? Are you aware that we are a Pacific Time (PST) server and schedule our events at primetime for our server (usually starting around 7-8 p.m.)? If you are transfering, have you tested that you have adequate ping to our server (located in California) that your gameplay will not be lagged?
I live in Florida, I am familiar with the time zone difference. I play on Muradin realm right now which is a central time. I have not tested the ping.


10) What other guilds have you been a part of and what were their primary goals? Why did you choose to leave your former guilds?
I was a founding member of <IsThatGnomeOnMyBoots> and it is the only guild I have raided with. We have almost always primarily been a casual guild, but we decided to become more competitive with MoP. We have been in the top 2-3 guilds for server in clearing content. The guild disbanded after real life issues led to a few members having to quit. I am currently the GM and only active member in the guild.


11) Are you currently guilded, and if so, have you informed your current guild leader that you are applying with us?
I am the GM of my current guild.


12) What do you expect to accomplish with Be Your True Mind?
I hope to see and finish current tier content at a reasonable pace while having fun with the players I raid with.


13) What really annoys you in a guild?
I have pretty thick skin, not much tends to annoy me.


14) Do you know any of our members? If so, how do you know them?
I have spoken with Lightstryker in game, otherwise I do not.


15) Are you the type to regularly visit your guild's forums? Note: We often post strategies on the forums and require that any absences be posted in advance. If you're forum-phobic this isn't a good guild for you to raid with.
Usually not, but I have never been a part of a guild that actively utilizes one. I would use it if needed.


16) Give us a few reasons why we should chose you for our guild.
I am an experienced raider with a mild personality. I feel I get along well with others and would be a great fit into a social guild. I am also an active player that contributes to guild needs including enchants, feasts, glyphs, etc. I also enjoy running old content, dungeons, and pvp.


17) If you mated a bulldog and a shitsu, would it be called a bullshit?
Only if it was a french bulldog


18) Please take a few sentences to tell us about yourself; how old you are, what you do for a living or what you study, what other games you might play, etc.
My name is Cory. I am 27 years old. I work as a paramedic. My girlfriend is in medical school, We have limited time together because of this and only have weekends together. I don't play any other games at this time, I enjoy WoW and it fills my free time.


19) Finally, please post a screenshot of your UI so we can see what it looks like. You can list any hidden addons or keybindings which are useful for your playstyle, particularly if they're hidden and not immediately obvious from the screenshot.

I am not a tech savvy person, I have no idea how to post a screen shot. Please don't let that imply that I am not a quality gamer. For raiding add ons I use Bartender, Grid, Recount, and WeakAuras. I also use TSM for auction house fun. I use mouse over macros for healing. If the screen shot is absolutely required, then I can look up how to do it.
