My main class is an Affliction (primary) / Demonology (secondary) warlock. I primarily play affliction for raiding. I have been playing/raiding on this class since Burning Crusade (BT and Hyjal).
2) When you want to research your spec/gear so you can tank/heal/dps better where do you go to get this information? Nearly everyone says EJ, so impress us. Where do you go for your information besides EJ?
Besides EJ, I do research on Icy Veins and Wowhead.
3) How willing are you to switch roles (tank to dps, dps to healer, etc.) if your class allows for it? Are you willing to switch specs for specific fights (e.g. a mage going frost for add kiting on Nef)? Note: If you were recruited as dps we will understand if you do not want to be a permanent tank/healer, but it's good to know if we can hot-swap you if someone's absent that day.
As mentioned above my two specs are affliction/demonology. I do primarily play affliction and spend most of my time perfecting my rotations in that spec. In Cata, my raid was having difficulty with the sons of flame on Ragnaros. To assist the team better I respeced from demo to destro to assist with killing the adds faster. I am willing to temporarily change specs as illustrated if the team needs it.
4) What is your current raid progression? If it is different from the character you are applying with, also tell us why you are switching mains.
Currently I am only 1/6 in MsV.
5) Do you have any notable achievements when raiding previous tiers? (e.g. Killing Kael'thas in TK before he was skippable, Bane of the Fallen King before 4.0.1, etc.)
None that come to mind.
6) Do you have any World of Logs reports or Recount breakdown screenshots you could link or post so we can get a feel for your performance?
Not currently
7) What are your professions, are they maxed, and why did you choose these? If they are gathering professions would you be willing to switch to a more raid viable profession?
My professions are Tailoring and Enchanting both of which are maxed out. My cooking is also maxed. I chose these two professions because I felt they complimented each other while leveling and it allows me to enchant my own gear and in some cases craft my own gear.
8) Are you available to make both scheduled raid days for the group you are applying to (Sat/Mon for Group 1, Wed/Thursday for Group 2)? Obviously things come up, we understand that. We have a 75% attendance policy. However we are looking for dependable raiders.
I am available for the Sat/Mon group. Most of those nights I am available minus the occasional family activity.
9) In which timezone do you play? Are you aware that we are a Pacific Time (PST) server and schedule our events at primetime for our server (usually starting around 7-8 p.m.)? If you are transfering, have you tested that you have adequate ping to our server (located in California) that your gameplay will not be lagged?
I live in Mountain Timezone so I am +1 hour from Pacific.
10) What other guilds have you been a part of and what were their primary goals? Why did you choose to leave your former guilds?
I have been a part of several guilds on my current server some of which are no longer around. The decision to leave a guild is never one I take lightly. I tend to be a dedicated member and prefer to remain as long as I can. In the past serious guild drama or guild activity/rosters dropping have been primary factors in leaving my guild. Currently I am a apart of a guild named Imposed Exile which is a guild I helped create. Most of my toons on Feathermoon are apart of this guild. So while I would be server transferring to Skywall, I would not be leaving the guild as I have 5 other toons in the guild.
11) Are you currently guilded, and if so, have you informed your current guild leader that you are applying with us?
As mentioned about I am on this toon. Since originally posting this thread I have informed the co-leaders of the guild.
12) What do you expect to accomplish with Be Your True Mind?
I am looking to find a guild that raids regularly as well as engages in other activities in a team friendly environment. The social aspect is important in Wow and lately I have felt that lacking in my current guild. I am not looking for a guild that does everything together nor a super social guild. Just looking for a guild that has some sociability to it but also allows people to do their own thing when they feel like it.

Mostly just meaningless bullshit.
14) Do you know any of our members? If so, how do you know them?
I do not know any members of your guild currently. I responded to a post by Dashes on the forums about your recruitment needs for a lock and have spoken with them.
15) Are you the type to regularly visit your guild's forums? Note: We often post strategies on the forums and require that any absences be posted in advance. If you're forum-phobic this isn't a good guild for you to raid with.
Yes, I typically do research on Icy Veins, YouTube and guild forums (if available) to determine raid strategies, guild events, etc..
16) Give us a few reasons why we should chose you for our guild.
I am a team player and I like to push progress. I really enjoy progression raiding as it offers a sense of accomplishment. I do my work ahead of time to make sure I can offer the most to my team.

I am 36 years old, married with a 3 yr old daughter. In addition to WoW I play Call of Duty, I am currently playing Assassin's Creed 1 and play on playing X-Com and Assassin's Creed 2 and 3.
19) Finally, please post a screenshot of your UI so we can see what it looks like. You can list any hidden addons or keybindings which are useful for your playstyle, particularly if they're hidden and not immediately obvious from the screenshot.
I had some difficulty getting the image to post, not sure why. I currently use ElvUi along with recount, omen, DMB, Archy, and Atlas loot.
